OMI Vienna
The Vienna Open Medical Institute (Vienna OMI) is a joint initiative of the Vienna Hospital Association (VHA)(www.wien.gv.at/English/health), The American Austrian Foundation (AAF), The Viennese Society of Physicians, The Austrian Academy of Sciences and the Vienna School of Clinical Research (VSCR)(www.vscr.at) to provide state-of-the-art scientific and clinical postgraduate education in medicine to colleagues from countries in transition using Vienna's excellent resources.
The Vienna Open Medical Institute supports the Viennese observerships by providing access to leading Austrian physicians as mentors, access to education in clinical research and access to medical literature at the offices of the Viennese Society of Physicians and a variety of other opportunities, depending upon the academic schedule.
