In Memoriam Amb. Mag. Dr. Ernst Sucharipa

 

Ambassador Sucharipa played an important role in the development of the Salzburg Medical Seminars of the American Austrian Foundation. His support, while at the United Nations enabled Serbian physicians to attend seminars in Salzburg throughout the Balkan War, and the receptions held at your residence were a high point for all our U.S. physicians.

He continued to support the AAF by conducting seminars at the Diplomatic Academy for young diplomats and journalists, which were praised by all participants.

We will all miss his optimism, work ethic and humor
