Daughter of a US diplomat, Nancy Stahl spent most of her elementary and secondary school years overseas in Greece, Thailand, Egypt, France and Lebanon. She went predominantly to American schools in each of our posts, save for in France and Greece, where Ms. Stahl attended the French Lycée. In 1980, she married Dr. Rudolf Stahl in New York City.
