Hon. Consul Joseph E. Sheehan

Joseph E. Sheehan is the founder and chief executive of J. E. Sheehan & Company, Inc., a privately owned asset management firm focused on private and public investments in the United States and Europe. He has provided advisory services and capital to emerging companies for over forty years. He started his career as a practicing attorney in New York City.

Mr. Sheehan has served as Honorary Deputy Consul General of the Republic of Austria since 1993. He was decorated by the Austrian government in 1993 for his work in furthering Austrian-American relations.

He is a Trustee of The American Austrian Foundation and a member of its Executive Committee.

Mr. Sheehan is married to Rosa Sheehan, an Austrian citizen, and is the father of two children. He and his wife divide their time between residences in New York and Austria.
