Dr. Michael H. Sacks is Professor of Psychiatry at the Weill Medical College of Cornell University and co-directs the Acute Care Inpatient Team at the Payne Whitney Clinic of the New York Presbyterian Hospital. He is a graduate of the NY University School of Medicine and completed his residency training at the New York State Psychiatric Institute of Columbia University. He is a psychoanalyst and a fellow of the American Psychoanalytic Association. His areas of interest include the psychotherapy of severe personality and psychotic disorders, sports and psychiatry, suicide, and milieu treatment.
