Candis Kinkus, MBA, BS is the administrative director for the Department of
Pathology at Magee-Women’s Hospital of University of Pittsburgh Medical Center
in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Magee-Women’s Hospital of UPMC is an acute care
teaching and research hospital for obstetrics, gynecology, gynecologic oncology,
and neonatology and recognized as a National Center of Excellence in Women’s
Health by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. She has previously
held positions as administrator for various departments including Pathology,
Emergency Medicine and Community Medicine with Allegheny Health, Education and
Research Foundation in Pennsylvania and Atlantic Health System in New Jersey. Ms. Kinkus obtained a Master’s of Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and completed post-graduate course work in health systems management at the Carnegie-Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. A Bachelor’s degree of Science was awarded from the University of Pittsburgh. Ms. Kinkus is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and past member of the Clinical Laboratory Managers Association and the Medical Group Management Association.
