Ashley von PerfallAshley von Perfall was born and raised in New York City where she attended The Nightingale-Bamford School and holds a B.A in Psychology from Connecticut College and a diploma in Architecture and Interior Design from The Inchbald School of Design (London, England). Ashley worked for the interior designer John Stefanidis in London. Having been classically trained in voice and piano she always cared deeply for music and went on to pursue a career in the recording and performing arts. Career highlights include: Label Manager, International Sales & Marketing Elektra Records/Time Warner in New York and Paris (1990-1994); International Director of Promotion and Artistic Development, Erato Records in Paris (1994-1997) and Director of International Marketing, RCA Red Seal/Bertelsmann Music Group in New York (1998-2002). During this time she had the opportunity of working on the recordings and careers of some of the world's best- known musicians and performers. Ashley resides in New York with her husband Alexander and three young children. She is currently working on her own compositions of children's lullabies. She serves as co-chair of New York City Opera's annual Children's Benefit and does volunteer work with the Opera's Education Department. She is a member of the Women's Health Committee of the Women's Health Center (in affiliation with NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital) and serves on the center's annual symposium organizing committee. | ||
