31.05.2010 | The Daisy Soros Prize for Fine Arts
Each year, The Daisy Soros Prize for Fine Arts offers Fine Arts graduate students or those who have completed their graduate studies within the past two years the opportunity to study at the Salzburg International Summer Academy of Fine Arts in Austria.
This year we increased the number of scholarships to five and the winners are:
Grayson Cox, Columbia University
Devin Farrand, Cranbrook Academy of Art
Sooyeon Kim, Rhode Island School of Design
George Pfau, California College of Arts
Leigh Van Duzer, University of Pennsylvania
We would like to thank the Jury Members 2010 for helping us with the selection and supporting this program: Hildegund Amanshauser (Director, Salzburg International Summer Academy of Fine Arts), Edelbert Köb (Director, Museum of Modern Art Vienna), Sylvie Liska (President, Society of Friends of the Vienna Secession), Marko Lulic (Artist and Instructor), and Dr. Christoph Thun-Hohenstein (Managing Director, “Departure – Wirtschaft, Kunst und Kultur gmbh”).
