The OMI Satellite Syposium in Anesthesiology took place on May 4 -5, 2009 in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. Dr. Aarti Sharma and Dr. Sudhir Diwan from NewYork Presbyterian Hospital lectured on a range of topics, and partipated in a round-table discussion on "Current Problems in Anesthesiology in Kyrgyzstand and the Prospect of Combined Cooperation". The satellite symposium was attended by 150 participants and was a great success.
