OMI Research Observership

The aim of the OMI – Research Observership Program is to provide basic biomedical and clinical research skills training to OMI Fellows. Former Seminar and Observership participants have the opportunity to spend up to 3 months in one of the leading Austrian research institutions, where they can participate in research projects and acquire essential research tools. This program is designed to help clinicians who are interested in science and research to build a professional network for future cooperations with leading Austrian research institutions.

Ideal candidates are:

  1. OMI Fellows who want to learn new research skills and new lab technologies
  2. OMI Fellows who are involved in a clinical or basic research project in their home country and would like to establish a research collaboration with an Austrian research institution.
  3. OMI Fellows who have an ongoing collaboration or project with an Austrian research institution
