Drs. Almuthe Hauer; Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the University Hospital for Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine of the Medical University of Graz, Austria and Attending Pediatric Gastroenterologist in the Department of General Pediatrics and Dr. Maria Mascarenhas; Associate Professor of Pediatrics, Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania Section Chief, Nutrition; Director, Nutrition Support Service; Medical Director, Clinical Nutrition Department at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, USA conducted a Satellite Symposium on Pediatric Gastroenterlogy and Nutrition. This satellite was the first such conference to be held at the University of Kazan and over 200 doctors attended, 100 came from other parts of Tatarstan.
