From May 5th to 6th, 2012 we conducted the first OMI Satellite Symposium in Doha, Qatar in collaboration with Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) and Weill Cornell Qatar.
The topic was the latest treatment protocols for Diabetes and the information presented should assist Hamad Medical Corporation in establishing their Diabetes Prevention Program, which will help reduce the risk of pre-diabetic people from developing diabetes through weight reduction, diet control and regular exercise.
OMI faculty included Dr. Antonio M. Gotto from Weill Cornell USA, Dr. Bernhard Ludvik from the Medical University of Vienna, and Dr. Manikkam Suthanthiran also from Weill Cornell USA. >>read more
