2011-12-12 14:00 | "Music for Medicine" Benefit 2011, NY

On Wednesday, November 30th, 2011 at 7 PM, The American Austrian Foundation hosted its’ annual "Music for Medicine" concert and dinner benefiting the Salzburg Medical Seminars of the Open Medical Institute at a new venue - Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center.

Nine members of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra played works from Händel, Schubert and Haydn to an almost sold out house.

More than 800 people attended the concert and 300 stayed for dinner enabling us to raise more than $500,000 for the program – a new record!!

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made this possible.
