We are living in an age of diversity and integration. In our increasingly interdependent global economy, the ability to understand and unite differing cultures is vitally important; our society needs to establish a sense of world community.

Austria's image in the world has traditionally and to a large extent been defined by her cultural heritage, and culture is also one of Austria's strongest assets in her relationship with the United States.

Purpose

The purpose of the AAF Cultural Programs is to provide Austrians and Americans exchange opportunities in their artistic fields.
