Children’s Music Camps at Schloss Arenberg
Arenberg Children's Musik Camp in conjunction with the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra and TAKTIK and supported by the Salzburg Stiftung of the AAF, The Friends of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra and the Friends of the Salzburg Musik Festival.
The Salzburg Festival and the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra invite children and teenagers between the ages of 7 and 15 to music camps held at Schloss Arenberg during the Salzburg Music Festival.
In the inspiring atmosphere of the palace, the children create a unique version of a work that is being performed at the Festival, through working with music educators, theater pedagogues, stage designers and dancers. Other highlights of the week include attending a dress rehearsal at the Festival as well as a backstage tour.
On the last day of the camp, the children perform their version of the opera, together with members of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, to the public in the Festival District.
